Who is it?

A figure of the Swiss night scene, LePhar juggled between different registers for a long time before finding his way. It was through the prism of the piano that Raphaël Schwartz tamed musicality from the age of 7, a passion that would never cease to support him in his artistic quest.

Eager to sharpen his skills, the latter enrolled in the conservatory to study classical music as well as jazz. A passionate listener, LePhar had the opportunity to concretely experiment with this medium when, in 2016, he joined several local hip-hop groups.

After several years of releasing a slew of projects and performing on stage with his childhood friends, the beatmaker began to explore new sounds: electronics.

While at Gustav, LePhar began to compose in an autodidact way, until he found his own style. The result of this incubation, the EP Mixed Origins was released in 2022, seven tracks merging the musical genres that its creator loved so much. A year later, a second, even more eclectic opus was released, No Basis. Mixed origins, mixed musicality, such is the mantra of the Fribourg artist.

LePhar is releasing his new album, “Touch & Sustain” on January 26, 2024.

LIVE SET

Craftman of happiness, LePhar leaves a lot of room for improvisation during high-energy shows, animated by the energy of the audience. A live set with the artist is a flow of eclectic sounds and above all the guarantee of going through all the emotions, as the latter strives to deploy a unique musicality when he takes his place on the front of the stage.

Ces dernières semaines ont été un peu spéciales !

Ça fait un mois que j’ai un chiot à la maison, et toute mon énergie est passée là-dedans

It’s been a month since I got a puppy, and all my energy has gone into that.
